Open Positions

Postgraduate Residency

Four full-time post-graduate residency positions are available annually beginning in August of each year and ending in May. Currently, 3 of 4 positions have been filled for the 2018-19 academic year. We are currently screening applicant materials and conducting interviews for our remaining position.  If interested in the remaining position, contact Krystal Jacob, training director, immediately.

The residency is for the academic year, with the usual academic breaks. Residents are responsible for providing: (a) short term individual, couples, and group therapy; (b) assessment and referral services; (c) crisis intervention and on-call services; (d) outreach programming; and (e) psychological consultation to the campus community. Residents also have involvement in training and mentorship of master’s level practicum students through Humboldt State University’s Counseling program. Residents receive both individual and group supervision commensurate with the requirements for licensure.
