Humboldt Family Service Center (HFSC)
HFSC, located in both Eureka and Arcata, offers sliding fee based counseling for individuals, couples, children, and families. During this time of coronavirus, they are operating through telehealth. In normal times, their Eureka office has a free walk-in counseling clinic on Mondays 1-4 p.m. Call 443-7358 for more information.
In addition, they offer an Employee Assistance Program, Drug Education Program, Anger Management Counseling, and a Children of Divorce workshop. See website for details.
North Coast Mental Health Professionals
The website for this organiziation is very helpful in searching for a priviate practice psychotherapist. Most of our local therapists are part of this organization. The website allows you to search by location, health insurance, presenting problem, etc.
Open Door Community Health Centers
Locations throughout the county. Both the Eureka and Arcata offices of Open Door have a licensed clinical social worker on staff and provide behavioral health counseling. The North Country Clinic includes a psychologist on staff and also provides behavioral health counseling. See website for specific phone numbers.

An Humboldt student club that provides the queer commuinty a safe place to talk, play games, plan events, meet new friends, gain support, etc. Meets Thursdays at 7 pm in the Vine Deloria Room, MCC.
