Corinne Harris (She/her)

2nd Year Practicum Student

Biography:

Hi! My name is Corinne Harris. After taking several years off of school to travel, work, and live abroad, I eventually made my way to Humboldt to complete my bachelor's degree. I’m now in my final year of the Master’s in Counseling Program here and am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with students.

I strive to create a comfortable, caring, and non-judgmental space where clients can find healing, growth, and self-acceptance. Through a collaborative relationship, I support clients in exploring patterns and experiences that may be contributing to their struggles. I am working toward developing an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from methods such as CBT, ACT, somatic therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness.

Outside of my work and studies, I love spending time in nature, paddleboarding, running, gardening, caring for my plants, practicing meditation, reading, cooking, and cuddling with my cat.
