My name is Kyle Ruelas.  I am a first year Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. I have an associates in psychology, and a bachelors in psychology, with a minor in philosophy of ethics and values. I am now pursuing my master’s degree in counseling psychology at Cal Poly Humboldt.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist.  My interests are in interpersonal therapy, existential therapy, gestalt therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy modalities. 

I have lived in Humboldt my whole life and am a Board Member for Humboldt Mediation Services. In my free time, I enjoy being with friends, playing board games, video games, music, and reading.
